Stop Smoking in only ONE session

Hypnotherapy in Cambridge to stop smoking

At Cambridge Hypnotherapy we have devised a fantastic session plan over the past few years that helps our clients quit smoking in only ONE session! We have literally worked it on hundreds of clients and this has helped us to offer it with a free back up session as we are that confident ! Using NLP and Hypnosis, we can start to reprogram what smoking and cigarettes mean to you.

You will no longer see them as a way to relieve that stressful day at work, or as a way to escape that boredom when you’re sat at home with not much to do. You won’t even be using the reason that it helps you socialise with your friends as an excuse as to why you smoke anymore. After our session, your unconscious mind will see that in fact cigarettes are stressing you out physically and even emotionally, that sitting around smoking is actually boring you and stopping you from doing something that you would enjoy doing, and that you can still even be in the same environments as before with friends etc without the need to smoke.

It only takes one session to make these changes, and we are so confident in our approach that we offer all of our clients a free back up session within the first 3 months. In the last 7 years, I have only seen a handful of clients (maybe 5 or 6) for a free back up session, it’s that effective!

To find out how you can be free from cigarettes and stop smoking with Hypnotherapy, contact us now on 01223 720120, or you can email us here and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We offer all of our clients a complimentary initial consultation where you can be sure you can proceed comfortably and stop smoking with Cambridge Hypnotherapy.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Luke.

How Hypnotherapy can kick your new resolutions back into action!

So we are nearly at the end of January, 31 days into 2014 and I’m keen to find out how many of you that made a new years resolution are still going strong?

Here at Cambridge Hypnotherapy we are starting to see an increase in enquiries from clients looking to lose weight, stop smoking or cut down their alcohol consumption with Hypnotherapy. In addition to these are the clients who are looking to boost their confidence levels and let go of their anxiety. They thought they would try and ‘just get on with it’ themselves, only to find that they are still in the same place as 2013!

If this is something that you can relate to , please click here聽or call us on 01223 720 120 to arrange a complimentary initial consultation. Here we can explain to you in more detail about exactly what Hypnotherapy is, and how you can achieve your results in only 2-3 sessions.

Stoptober….. or StopForever with Cambridge Hypnotherapy to stop smoking

Monday, September 30th, 2013

So once again Stoptober is here, and the government are trying to push helping smokers become a non smoker for 28 days. Although this is obviously a great initiative, I do find it flawed in many aspects!

Firstly, why stop for 28 days? Why not stop smoking FOREVER? If people stop smoking for 28 days they are apparently 5 times more likely to stop smoking permanantly. I would counter that with 100% of those who do stop forever, actually have stopped forever? Strange, eh 馃槈

The problem I have with setting a 28 day target, is that for many people they are instantly counting down to when they can have that lovely cigarette again, and that is all that goes around in their mind. Every day they get closer to that 28th day, their desire for it gets bigger and bigger. Similar to people who go on a crash diet for a holiday or a wedding, as soon as its over their gorge on takeaways and chocolate and snacks, as those ‘treats’ have recently been forbidden. When Christmas is coming, we all get more and more excited about it as the day nears, and unfortunately I do find Stoptober can create this sort of excitement about smoking again, not for everyone mind, but for a large portion of people that do it.

So what happens when you decide to be a non smoker forever? Well your aim has instantly shifted to remaining a non smoker, not to when you can smoke again. We have designed a fantastic smoking cessation session package that can make stopping smoking the easiest decision you have ever made. We will be working on exactly what I just said, boosting your incentive to remain a non smoker. By the time you walk into our therapy room here at Cambridge Hypnotherapy to stop smoking, you will in fact have already stopped smoking and your unconscious mind will be onside, ready to learn everything it needs to learn to enable you to stay that way regardless of anything that may happen in your future.

Stopping smoking with Cambridge Hypnotherapy is not a long winded affair, it is in fact ONLY one session.

Finding out just how easy it can be is simply, you just need to email us here, or call us on 01223 720 120.

I await your call 馃檪

tips to stop smoking from Cambridge Hypnotherapy

Tips to help you stop smoking.

Whilst we know hypnosis and hypnotherapy claim a great success rate helping smokers to be non-smokers.

And

We, here at Cambridge Hypnotherapy, believe we have developed even better ways and processes using our experience of hypnosis and NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) we also understand this is not for everyone. Although it is far easier with us than going cold turkey we thought we would give a few pointers for those wanting to do it by themselves.

First of all the main reason we lose our will power or resolve is because when we stop smoking without planning properly most smokers begin to try to behave just the same as before not utilising a different behaviour in it鈥檚 place.

Some start drinking more alcohol, others eat more or keep picking at food between meals and some just get lethargic and watch TV more.

The result of all this is more weight and sluggishness ending going back to the dreaded weed!

Why does this happen? It鈥檚 because we have acknowledged what smoking was doing for us, such as taking us away from stress or boredom. 聽If we don鈥檛 re[place smoking with a new set of behaviours that also deal with what smoking was doing for us them we are doomed to failure.

So if you want to try and stop by yourself here鈥檚 a few tips:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Pick a date suitably in the future when you will stop.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Think about when you smoke what is smoking doing for you and write them down

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Think about necan rightly w ways you can achieve the same thing for you and write聽聽them聽down

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Make notes on what you can do that鈥檚 really different and that you can鈥檛 smoke at the same time and prepare to them.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 On the evening before the set day really concentrate on smoking and realise it鈥檚 just a silly behaviour and that you know far better ways. After your last smoke ceremoniously crush and throw away the packet.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 When you wake up have a nice shower and put on some nice, clean comfortable clothes.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Give yourself credit and praise every hour for doing so well.

So you can go this way if you like, some do and get great results but a lot fail with all good intentions because the thing is it鈥檚 our unconscious mind that runs the smoking behaviour and changing consciously is very hard.

That鈥檚 why we think coming to us for one session specially designed to help you stop smoking and get you unconscious mind to change using hypnosis can be the most rewarding thing you ever do for yourself. Changing your behaviours unconsciously and enjoy the change in you and what you will experience for the rest of your life.

Remember the reason we are so successful is that we always insist that you come for a complimentary consultation to make sure you are right for us and we for you, to get all your questions answered and when you are ready to commit we give you something to do along with our special hypnosis CD that gets you ready for the real session. Following the one session we will also give you our special Continue to take the trance CD along with Joseph鈥檚 Stop smoking now CD. It just makes sense.

Stopping smoking in Cambridge ~ How effective are drugs to stop smoking

Saturday, November 3rd, 2012

I noticed this in the book 鈥楾ipping Point鈥 and to be honest was surprised at what I read:
鈥淕laxo Wellcome has tested the drug 鈥 now marketed
under the name Zyban 鈥 in heavily addicted smokers
(more than 15 cigarettes a day) and found remarkable
effects. In the study, 23 percent of smokers given a course
of anti-smoking counseling and a placebo quit after four
weeks. Of those given counseling and the nicotine patch,
36 percent had quit after four weeks. The same figure for
Zyban, though, was 49 percent, and of those heavily
addicted smokers given both Zyban and the patch, 58 per-
cent had quit after a month. Interestingly, Zoloft and
Prozac 鈥 the serotonin drugs 鈥 don鈥檛 seem to help
smokers to quit.鈥

I know there are many percentages of success given to hypnotherapy for stopping smoking and really don鈥檛 know if there is an official figure. I do know from our experience using our unique set of processes involving hypnosis we seem to get a remarkable achievement rate ~ well over the test above. I know we offer a back up session with our our one session stop smoking but that in reality is very rarely called upon. Whether this is due to our initial consultation (complimentary of course) where we really find out if we are for you and vice versa. It could be the work we give our clients to do and our pre-session Hypnosis CD. It may be the special unique session itself or even the post session hypnosis CD鈥檚 .

In the end we don鈥檛 really care which part works best for individual clients because that鈥檚 the thing each session is all about our client, their needs, fears and wants. There鈥檚 no generic script at Cambridge Hypnotherapy, no set routine reeled out time after time after time as we know some other do.

In reality there鈥檚 only one way to find out if you really want to stop for yourself and that鈥檚 to get in touch with us and to do it now if it feels right.
