Cambridge Hypnotherapy on Christmas and relation(ships)

Sunday, November 27th, 2011

It’s an interesting but sad fact that divorce lawyers/solicitors do more business over the Christmas period than any other time of the year.

The time of year when we hear ‘Good will to all (wo)men’, the giving time and that time when we think of new resolutions.

Yet it seems for many we just can’t communicate our love for each other in a way that’s understood or received in a way we want it to be.

So what in essence should be a wonderful time of our year where we get more of that valuable thing called time to spend with our loved ones can end up in such an emotional minefield.

The thing is it doesn’t have to be this way at all if you don’t want it to be. YOU can make it a time that increases and intensifies your relationships.

Here at Cambridge Hypnotherapy we have worked with many clients to reinforce the core of their relationship with their partner or family easily and comfortably.

It doesn’t take long and it doesn’t always need you both to attend. You know as well as we do when one half of a relationship steps up and makes things better the other will automatically follow. That’s just a simple fact of life!

Here’s a thought:

Think about the first time you kissed your partner, the very first time. Remember what you felt back then, go on really feel it again and notice you can intensify or magnify that feeling.

And, as you dothat, think of another wonderful time when you really felt that love and again really feel that feeling.

And then……..

look at you partner holding on to that feeling and ask yourself

What can I do now to express this feeling?” and then just do it!

That’s only the tip of the iceberg of what we can do. Imagine having someone to guide you through empowering processes that will increase your love, your life and your future.

Anxious about Hypnotherapy in Cambridge

Monday, February 28th, 2011
A little while ago I received a reply to an initial consultation reminder text we send out that made me think.

The text read something like this:

Thanks. Ironic that I am seeking your help as I am anxious about everything” and here’s the bit that got me “Including coming to see you!”It’s only because we know the initial consultation is our way to put you at your ease and we have been in so many we’re never anxious!

Being serious though I can really empathise with that comment, sometimes we can be so worried of the unknown we will stay stuck. Some people call it staying in their comfort zone and if you have ever thought that way and I think we all have maybe it should be renamed “the Familiar Zone”. You can be so familiar with your problems, issues and the negative way you feel it can be scary to think of being any other way.

Luke, Joseph and I know this here at Cambridge Hypnotherapy which is why we insist on our prospective clients come to an initial consultation. It’s a time where we can let you know all about our special kind of Hypnotherapy and make you feel really comfortable.

How do we do that?

Well firstly:

You can see we are real people and can tell we are both passionate about your results and you can see that what we are telling you is what we believe in. We don’t sell magically on the telephone or on the web ~ you get to see “the whites of our eyes!” and you get to do this with our compliments, it’s absolutely free.

Secondly:

You get to make a considered decision by getting all your concerns answered and if we’re not for you that’s great and if we are that’s great to.

Thirdly:

You have that worry of being regressed back to times in your life when things were bad ~ because we don’t do that here.

Fourthly:

For those that worry with phobias etc that you will be made to face the thing your fear so much ~ we don’t do that either!

There’s a lot more I could add but then I want you to find out for yourself and start making the changes to your life ~ with a little special help from us.

DEALING WITH STRESS and ANXIETY in Cambridge

Friday, December 12th, 2008

We are all dealing with stress ~ it’s just that sometimes you do it well and other times badly. And when you’re feeling overwhelmed you’re dealing with it badly.

Not exactly rocket science I hear you cry (or sob)

You see but maybe you feel it, when you deal with stress badly it not only affects your work, your ability to concentrate it often spirals down to your home life which in turn only makes it worse at work. We all know or have the experience of this.

From the feeling of being anxious to panic attacks, that ‘D’ word ~ Depression and what it is sometimes called social phobia. As usual the list goes on and on and on……………. Our health is affected and being affected badly by stress and seems to lead to being open to every cold, flu, sore throat etc. etc. etc.

Is this depressing enough for you? …………………………….It is me ~ so let’s GO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

because you can.

You can choose to be different and feel the way you want (yippee that’s more like it)

I believe it is your duty to yourself to be able to be the real you, to perform at your best, be successful and above all enjoy doing and being you at home, at play and at work

and you can do this us:

To be in the best and appropriate state

To be able to change your state instantly

To be able to deal with situations positively

To see things for what they are and not what they appear to be

To manage your emotions (yes, we all have them……….. and at work too!)

To deal with perceived criticism

To let go of Anger, Sadness, Fear and Guilt or any other negative emotion

To be able to be relaxed to chill out (hip Eh?)

In short be at your best at all times and YOU CAN

Your Yule Dude (hop hip talk!)

Feeling Stressed ~not at Cambridge Hypnotherapy or Thailand

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Life in Thailand is so different.

There are two types of people here, the laid back people who sleep whilst working, and the others (taxi drivers) who are relentless in working their socks off at a manic rate, yet they all have one thing in common…………………………. a relaxed lifestyle.

Compare that to England, where it makes no differnce if we work hard, or take it easy, the English generally are always stressed out….

why is this?

Maybe the weather, maybe a cheaper way of life, but then they may look at us and think we have it all…. who’s right?
I think we’re both right, as our maps of the world are opposites………..

More to come when I’ve finished relaxing and when I return I’ll teach you how
